For more then six years the "Mujahideen" terrorists blocked vaccination to over a million children in tribal areas and " terrorists influence" territories including killing of innocent health workers cum volunteers, while giving polio drops during campaigns. Finally sufficient momentum was built to get regional scholars to come out with the declaration.
This has resulted in a wave of more local scholars to come out openly for drops and support vaccination activities.
