Content: Kindly draw your attention to the date of this year's International lead poisoning prevention week of action, which is 19-25 October 2014. The theme is once again the elimination of lead paint. As before, we are putting a range of multilingual materials on our campaign page (https:////www.who.int/ipcs/lead_campaign/en/) that can be adapted for local use.
Last year, events in 100 cities in 44 countries were registered on WHO website - you can find a short report at https:////www.who.int/ipcs/lead_campaign/en/. This year we are hoping for even more events and we would be grateful if you could pass on information about the action week to your contacts.
