Child Health Emerging Leaders Program (Child HELP)

The IPA, in partnership with Johnson & Johnson, is pleased to announce the “Child Health Emerging Leaders Program” (Child HELP), a formal mentored leadership development program designed to build engagement and leadership capacity within IPA member societies.

Child HELP will launch during the upcoming IPA Panama Congress, with in-person leadership sessions, roundtable discussions, networking events, and a host of additional activities tailored to the needs and interests of pediatricians seeking to drive improvements in Child Health at local, national and international levels.

The IPA is currently accepting applications for the first multi-national cohort of Child HELP participants. Candidates must be early career pediatricians committed to fulfilling all program requirements, including completion of an individual leadership project, who will have support and individual mentorship from leaders of the sponsoring IPA member society.

Child HELP participants must be available to attend the IPA Panama Congress, including core pre-conference leadership sessions on March 16-17. Support for travel and meeting expenses is made possible by an educational fund from Johnson & Johnson.

Additional information about the Child Health Emerging Leaders Program can be found below, along with the official application form.
